WHAT IS PDR? (PAINTLESS DENT REMOVAL).

Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) is a technique used to repair both minor and larger dents and dings in a vehicle’s metal body panels without the need for repainting. This process is particularly effective for small, shallow dents that haven’t damaged the paint. Instead of replacing panels or using body filler, PDR relies on specialised tools and techniques to massage and manipulate the dented area back to its original factory shape.

How It Works:

Access the Dent: The technician will usually access the back of the dented area, either through the vehicle's panel gaps, wheel arches, or other accessible locations.

Pushing the Dent Out: Using specialised tools and lighting, the technician applies pressure to the back of the damaged area of the panel to push out the dent, gradually returning it to its original factory appearance.

Why Choose PDR?

Original factory paint is preserved: Since no body filler or painting are involved, PDR keeps the original paint intact, which is crucial for maintaining the vehicle's value and factory finish.

It's Faster and more cost effective: The process is usually much quicker and much more affordable than traditional bodywork as it doesn’t require any materials or any of the time-consuming steps used in a body shop.

Environmentally Friendly: Since no paint or materials are used, PDR is an eco-friendly option compared to conventional bodywork, which often involves the use of harmful chemicals, solvents and paint fumes.
